the shine is gone from her eyes
bounce lost from her steps

brimmed wif tears as she rides down to town
a heavy heart
an empty space
nothing in her mind

you hear her laugh
but do you hear her heart .. shattering .. into a million pieces

she lits a cigratte
her first in years
watchin
waiting
wondering where the little girl have gone to

she exhales deeply
watching the white fumes form around her
slumped in the chair
losing .. the little girl ...
forever ..
