Kinda regretted signing up for Terry Fox run duties. Woke up at such an obscene hour just to spend most of the morning in some shelter waiting for the rain to stop with our damn clothes just to find out that the 8k run was cancelled and we had to brave the rain back to the bus before heading to the starting point. Best thing, the rain stopped shortly after we were on the bus. Damn dumb.

"Ushered" the people to the starting point by forming a long human chain. Heard stupid comments about JC students doing flag day and poly students doing such nonsense. Wondered off to help with the balloons while the rest went to i don't know where. Frankly i doubt anyone cares if i had disappeared back then.

Have to say i had fun at HQ "celebrating" mooncake festival. Luckily i called in "sick". Had fun with the kids who finally start to acknowledge my presence more. Every one seemed pleased that i was finally around. Goes to show how long i was MIA.

I guess i had spend to much time at work and kinda neglected many things. Family, friends and quiet time to myself.

Hopefully can find some one to change shift with this sat, else i'll prob not go Sentosa at all. No point going for a while before heading to work.
