I'm back from camp =]. I must say it was quite fun especially listening to rina and chewy 'quarrel'. Really entertaining. Lots of fun laughing at people during the performance as no one bothered about us. Late night prata sessions which satisfied my long craving for it. Still the one near NUS is nicer. Lots of zhong ji mi ma to finish left over food and fruits. Kind of lazy to blog about camp now.

Chit-chat session for OSIP was ok i guess, highly doubt i'll get it though.

Parents still ignoring me which is just as well. Was prepared to just dump my things, washup change and head out again if they were to scream at me. First time i reach home so early from SU camp, even with the long 1+ hr ride on bus and mrt.

Projects are due and i cant be bothered to do.

Well i must say christmas this year is definately very different considering that i've finally made my way down to my church's service after many months of absense. Not just that, i even went for another service at City Harvest. Goodness.

Christmas eve was spent at grandma's for a lovely homecooked dinner followed by supper at coffee bean with my aunts.

Presents this year, well not as disappointing for some items i guess. Lovely of kor to get the Jay's latest cd, parents for the ipod nano, aunt for the pineapple tarts, grandaunt & granduncle for the Lancome lip gloss, aunt for the jewel box, aunt for the socks o.O, aunt for the fila bag which not exactly my taste, oh ya grandaunt for the bath set. Oh well.

Service at City Harvest was ok ba, haha, glad to have pammie for company and yup her friends were friendly. Headed to their carnival for a ride and drinks with her cell members. Poor me got squashed by pammie when she slid my way haha.

Kind of lazy to continue. Ciaos all.

I'm still pissed at my dad for not only downloading all his yahoo messenger, yahoo nonsense, msn messenger 7.5 and such resulting in my computer being so damn lagged but he also accused me telling not to anyhow visit website. Like hello? I dont visit porn or pick up girls (or in my sense guys) online and such shit. And he told my mom i should know what he means after saying that sentence. Fuck you man, dont you dare accuse me when that's what you do. Dont you me as your shield when you do such thing next time saying that i visited those site.

Anyway Christmas is coming. Failed to bring my grandma out on our yearly Takashimaya shopping trip this year. Besides the boardshorts that i got for my brother (setting me back by $40.. dang), i havent got any other presents. Thankfully i didnt forget the cards and candies this year.

Christmas Eve is tomorrow, yet i dont seem to be in the mood. I'm tired and i dont know why. Seemed to have lost quite a fair bit of weight again. NO!!!! Wished i had the appetite to eat more though.

I dont seem to be making much sense lately do i?

On a random note: I won against alvin and zifu in monopoly today =]

Guys do check out Sandra Brown's Chill Factor. It's nice though abit predictable in the sense that i had an idea who the 'lover' was the second time he visited her and who the killer was towards the end. Okay maybe the killer wasnt as predictable as the lover.

Anyway more on the story:
It's abit like James Patterson books but just doesnt seem to have that touch, true suspend is there but there's just something missing.

It's mainly about this lady named lily who got trapped with this guy called Tierney after crashing into him on the way down from her cabin. Whilst they were trapped in the cabin where they sought shelter they reminised about the time they went kayaking. All was well till lily found handcuffs and a gun in tierney's bag thinking he was the killer for the missing girls around the neighbourhood the past months.

Meanwhile lily's ex-husband, the poliece cheif tried to get to her together with his childhood friend Wes. Due to some reasons they concluded that tierney is the killer.

However, things were not well at Wes's home. One of the missing girls was Wes's son's ex-girlfriend and relations were strained between father and son.

As usual sex scenes were explicit, and the murder turned out to be _____. Shant tell you guys.

I know i did i shitty job again, but bear with me. I swear i'll get better. I hope. Haha.

Man, i wish i could enjoy the holidays.

Woots, i'm not the first out today. Even took the trouble to write slowly and 1 qn a page resulting in me using 2 booklets. Oops.

Not funny lei, everyone keeps asking me what time i'll be out, telling me not to write so fast and banning me from going out before 40 minutes is up. Dang.

Mid sem is over =] but alas our projects are not.

Had fun today though. Had lunch at Tonkichi with Pams, Ding, Althea, Alvin, Zifu, Shao and Peacock. So unlikely that we'll go out together but somehow we just couldnt stop laughing. Seems that we could be heard from all the way in front, man that's loud. LOL.

Glad to see fellow ex-collegues once again. Many thanks to Garrick San who treated us to potato salad, spinach and potato coroquette.

Headed to Cine to catch Perhaps Love with Pams and Ding. It's quite nice i must say but can be quite draggy. It made me feel as if it'll never end and frankly tired sitting down for so long. Didnt help that i had irritating people behind me who kept hitting the chair while moving his leg. Back to the show, it could have been more interesting if it were more musical style. Can be quite confusing at the start too.

Anyway do read James Patterson's London Bridge. (decided to recommend books from now on =]). As usual, his books never fail to capture my attention. A little more on the storyline:

The guy behind all the trouble is dubbed 'Wolf' who infact evacuated a city before blowing it up in flames. He sent this guy 'Weasel' to do the job and made sure that he's seen so that the police and Alex Cross, the detective would have some 'leads'. Anyway, 'Wolf' demands ransom and the release of many Al Queda terrorist within days or he'll blow up 4 other cities.

Okay maybe i'm not doing such a good justice to this book but it's been a while since i last summarized a book especially one so thick and it's very late. Still, i do urge you guys out there to read James Patterson books and if you appreciate his works, you wont feel like stopping once you start. This coming from someone who used to despise reading, it definately wont fail you.

Shall update on Mary, Mary James Patterson's latest book soon. And hopefully i'll do it more justice.

Nights all.

Hopefully all is well for everyone who did accounts today. Pam stop staring at me like that, Kaili stop kicking my chair. It shouldnt come as a surprise that i'll leave 30 minutes after the paper again. LOL.

Hmm been so long since i last went to TP needless to say, the journey there was tiring. Not only were there lack of seats till what Raffles place? I was so tired from sitting down for so long.

Attempted to memorise the accounting formulas to no avil, saw Ah Tan who decided to clap his hand loudly instead of calling my name and definately many unfamiliar faces. Man feel so out of place le.

Back to accountings, Mrs Teo even thought that i forgot that the question paper was double sided due to the fact that i finished in 1/2 hour which resulted in many being pissed at me *refer to top*

Had lunch at mensa, man the food is so much better and cheaper here. Fare and Square is sure to suffer a huge loss considering that many are flocking to Petite Cafe which sells better and well cheaper food.

FBO tomorrow and i cant be bothered to start. Lunch and movies tomorrow. Cant wait =].

Anyone else interested in OSIP?

Serene i've already posted up the pictures so go under the pictures link.

Anyway, as usual fridays are so boring, reached school early to realise that not only a certain Mr Chia allowed many groups to consult him but it's only for the day's tutorial class making us make a wasted trip. Nonetheless, the beef goulash soup was so nice that it was worth it.

Never seen alvin so fiercen before anyway. Scary.

As usual jap lecutre was enough to put one to sleep, but the powerpoint is on like finally.

Headed to Palawan to tan with serene and ming shan, would have been nicer if there weren't so many people. I'm didnt get very tanned except for my back. Dang. Attempted to study jap to no avil. Hope i pass though.

Headed to Marina for dinner meeting aw at douby to realise that no one was there. In order to make it more convenient for those still in TP having the briefing, we decided to head to town. Felt so weird walking arnd in short and such a big bag when everyone else were so well dressed. Saw the new manager at tonkichi. Somehow i still think jen san is irreplaceable.

Headed to NYDC with sally and teddy. Total turnout for the day. 4+1 how sad can it be. Still laughter was in the air with teddy telling us his life at camp.

I dont seem to be making any sense do I? Oh well, back to studying .. good luck all

10 years down the line i guess i can proudly put my head up high and say, "For the first day our restaurant was operating, i scrubed all the chopping boards clean so that we can sun it and kill the bacteria before the holiday starts."

Fine, i know that's lame but ya that's the first task of the day that pam, kaili and i were put to as the food weren't in and none of the chefs wanted us. *sobs* Eh, no joke leh, some of the boards were like so yellow and black can?

Helped with the pasta salad after that, followed by washing of potatoes, packing of Thai beef salad and not forgetting, grating the dreaded chinchow. Kinda scraped the skin on my finger resulting in it being really sore now.

Frankly the day just passed by really fast and most of the time was wasted on waiting and waiting. First for the chef to be done so that she can check our uniform, followed by a 45 min break and then work for us to do. Nonetheless, the chefs were really funny when they were in a good mood.

Wonder when we can try our warm chocolate cake and orange sauce again. Now we also have to try the glass biscuit (kaili spell correctly le right?) Hope it turns out good.

Projects are piling up and yes i do agree that actually alot of our subjects are quite useless. Oh well.

Tanning tomorrow, and steamboat but not forgetting Jap test. How to pass????

Wednesday, December 14, 2005

Thanks for all the care people, don't worry, i'm fine, guess i'm just too exhausted.

Presentation today, i'll say that it's partly due to the teacher who screwed up. Firstly with the labtop bit. Frankly i dont think that it's responsible of her not to bring a labtop just because she thinks we should bring it. Not everyone has labtops you know.

Next she cuts down the presentation time to 10 minutes but doesnt take note of the time giving some groups at least 20 minutes to go on and on. Being the first group we were already flustered and cut short our whole presentation which i believe would be 15 min max. Nonetheless, good job people, i think our visuals were the best with the bath kit and aroma oil.

Accounts was ok i guess, too tired to really care. Scored only 23.5/40 for class test, could have done lots better for sure. Oh well. Since when did i ever care about marks. Right.

Back to work i guess.

Tuesday, December 13, 2005

I'm disappointed, i cannot lie, but if this is what's going to happen, i guess i'll just have to accept it.

Still, i must say i feel appreciated that kai zhuan did think of me, pam and mimi as course ambassadors. Makes me feel useful? Does kind of cancel out the disappointment. Hopefully it can be changed though.

Sentosa finally has cute staffs. LOL. To me at least.

Finally ate at RITS after so long. Man, i'll miss their food especially since it's the only edible and nice food around the school, with the petite cafe, business at Fare & Square will definately go down especially since the HTB students are finally dining at the RITS too.

Presentation tomorrow and Jap test on friday. Wish me luck people.

Monday, December 12, 2005

Have i mentioned that i've posted up the D&D photos? Anyway they're mostly up, shall get the rest from the others as soon as i stop procrastinating, and they're online.

Work to be done:
1) P&L statement for Culi Sci (thanks glaudys for the faith you have in my accounts *rolls eyes* LOL)
2) FM PBL (for which i'm the leader but the project's like the hardest to do)
3) MICE PBL
4) FBOps PBL
5) Jap written test this friday
6) Mid Sem tests next mon & tues
Dont give a darn if i left any out frankly. I'm too tired to care.

One thing that's so damn sucky about our course is the projects. So much for PBL, they basically slam a scenario to you and leave you to it, but sometimes there are real sucky ones. For just 5% the individual field assignment we had to do was like and individual PBL so imagine that for 20%. Frankly, it's worse than CRS. Shall stop ngiam-ing.

Found people to watch Perhaps Love with, but still it'll be better to catch with a guy. Just the mood, no offence. Nonetheless, glad it'll be in the company of my Pams.

Movies i want to watch
1)Perhaps Love
2) Pride & Prejudice
3) Chronicles of Naria
I cant think of any others at the moment.

Shall carry on with work while waiting for dinner. Ciaos all.

*Speaking of dinner, i'm so happy that my first western meal from scratch was successful =]

You are reading the blog of a proud owner of a new ipod nano in black. LOL. Lots of kisses and hugs to my dear parents who rushed to Wheelock Place just to try to be the first 100 so that they can get it at 50% off. However they missed it and become the 2nd batch of 100 people who were entitled to free adaptor, headphones and goodie bag. Which i think is just as well.

Met a weird guy on the bus ride to meet them. He kept singing "wo yao gen ni zhuo zhuo ai" which means i want to make love to you a.k.a i want to have sex with you. At first i was like why the aunty so weird sing such songs but i soon realised that it was a guy. And he still asked himself what type of song was he singing. As it approached Orchard he sang even louder and even asked loudly "ni yao gen wo zhuo ai ma?" I was like so freaked out along with others in the bus. The moment it was my stop i quickly ran down even before the bus stopped. Oh man.

Dinner and Dance at Orchard Hotel was ok i guess, compared to last year, this is bad. There were like so many aunties and uncles who headed to the buffet line the moment they came in and the buffet havent even commenced. Wonder why they served them. Not just that they even shouted to each other "eh hao jiu bu jian", "hello ar, wo xian zai zai dinner lar" OMG so spoil image *loosely translated*

Best food for the night had to be the Haagen Daaz ice cream, the others were so-so. Still prefer last year's, even the entertainment was better. At least there were drags that cannot make it. Was childed for drinking too much wine though. But frankly i barely drank. At least i know my limits unlike those kiasu people who drank so much they could hardly stand and kudos to the ladies who had to help some lady who puked in the toilet.

Moving on to friday. Had a lovely time at dinner with lee min, wei jing, wen hong and wei yi. Denise i saw you!!! haha and why did fish n co. black out lei? haha.

As there werent much to shows to catch we headed down to cine's 9th floor where we sat amidst all the lan players and reminised about our secondary school life. Lovely memories. Hope to have more of such session soon. =]

gtg .. bro's pestering .. miss me people ..haha

Thursday, December 08, 2005

Decided i'll take a quick few minutes of break from editing my oh-so-wonderfully set PBL project. *gags*

Anyway a few sites i've been visiting and find that it's quite interesting
1) http://museum-of-twits.blogspot.com
2) http://harosingapore.blogspot.com
3) http://www.girlissues.diary-x.com/
4) http://yourguysxxxposed.blogspot.com/
5) http://lovekimmi.blogspot.com/

Do note the last one was added for fun, i think it's quite revolting but due to the fact that she's 15, i shant say anything more.

Why isnt anyone tagging me *whines*, feel so twitish when i do that.

Fact #6: Anyway i conclude that our education system has failed. People only understand the stand behind the yellow line bit for that long stretch from the start of the station to the end. I guess they're only afraid that they'll be dragged along with the mrt when if they're too near it and somehow or another part of their clothing get stuck under the door or whatsoever. They dont seem to understand arrows. Like hello, it points out of the mrt so it means let people out first lar. Dont stand there like a idiot when the arrow pointing in is on both you left and right. There's still another yellow line there you know, stand behind it and let people out.

Maybe they should just exclude the line inbetween so that people really stand behind the yellow line. Then again not. I think i'm not making any sense am i?

Fact #7: Do you know why our dollar notes are of different colour and sizes? and that America's notes are the same.

Well it's due to the illiteracy rate here. There are still many who cant read especially with the older folks thus the differnt colour and sizes are to help them recognize the domination. But it isnt that foolproof i guess.

Shall get on with work. Proficiency test tomorrow. Wish me luck.

I'm BORED!!!!! Maybe i deserved it since i asked my doctor for MC and he's so lovely to give me 2 days when i thought i could only get one day. But hey at least i get to slack at home, nevertheless i still miss you all.

Blogger's a little crazy today, couldnt get to view the page a few times today or was denied access. Not like our blogs are porn what, so what's there to deny access about?

My final check's finally ready together with my testimonail. Heard that Jen San would be transferring. WHY??? She's the one i admire and respect most there. In fact many times its because of her that i drag my tired body there to work and no matter what she'd never scolded or be sacarstic to me. Then again, nobody there does. Tonkichi will not be the same without her.

Anyway with the absence of work i feel as if i just come back from holiday every monday. Maybe that's why i seem like in a dreamy mode. I dont miss work, only the people and the customers who i've met that are nice and that remembers me from their previous visits.

More than half the day's gone and i've hardly done anything. Stop procrastinating. Shall have a little snooze nonetheless. LOL.

Take care all.

Monday, December 05, 2005

Woot..I've got 2 days MC which means.. *drum roll* that i dont need to see ms chio bu. Dang, i'll miss her smile, her alluring lips. Yea right, who am i kidding. LOL

Realized that i didnt mention how i broke my head. Nope i didnt get forced to bed by my mom or tortured by anyone but simply, i fell off the bed. Stop laughing k, i mean as a kid it's quite normal to sleep really how would you put it, wild? It was a bed idea to sleep with me last time as i can 'move' quite alot.

I hope i did well for accounts considering my non stop leaking nose, bouts of sneezes and headache. As usual, i'm the first. I shall rule the world. Mwhahaha. Fine, i seriously need to sleep which i will do after the justification.

Miss me people.

9 dec fri
Ntss people
Dinner at fish & co. glasshouse

17 dec sat

Dinner at marina steamboat

Let me know if you're coming

~ Still wishing for someone to spend x'mas with

Sunday, December 04, 2005

Christmas is coming.. that means PRESENTS!!! .. yea right. Shant go on about why i dislike my presents anymore. I just hope i'll get vouchers this year.

Anyway, i'll really like to spend christmas with someone special this year. Anyone??? Haha, i mean it'll be better than spending it alone or with my family, i want things to be different this year. I want to go for a count down party too, but i guess i'll be too busy .. no one to spend it with anyway.

Our chocolate cake was kind of successful i guess, abit scared of it now though.LOL. Have to work on the orange sauce. Cant wait.

Gtg. Accounts test tomorrow and i still havent started.

Friday, December 02, 2005

Was i very mean??? Aww.. tough luck. Mwhahaha. Anyway random facts as told by me.

Fact #1: Did you know that if you ever hit your head when you were young like really hard, there's a chance for you to be slightly deaf?

Which brings me to the fact that i've ever broken my head once at my family chalet when we were celebrating my brother's birthday. My smart mother conjouled me to sleep just to have us waking to a blood streakened pillow the next morning. Man if i wasnt there i guess the chamber maid would have thought that someone was murdered there. Besides the not bringing me to see a doctor after that, my mom happily retold this tale to my cousins recently and had the atrocity to laugh.

Which brings me to fact #2: Some people love their music so much that they want to share it with others.

Hello? Do you want to turn deaf or are you already since i find it loud standing next to you but your earpiece is in you ear. I do envy them though. I dont blast my music yet i can be quite deaf, so do forgive me if i cant seem to understand you at times. How can they still hear people properly?

Fact #3: Sentosa has finally taken our advice after one long semester and holiday to put a sign to lead to Merlion.

How many times have we been followed by tourist who actually thought that our school leads to the Merlion? Not forgetting many of us having to explain that this is a school. You have to go down the freaking hill that you just climbed, cross the road, walk somemore, up more steps before you reach the freaking Merlion.

Fact #4: Beware of dinosaurs in Sentosa.

Right. Not only is the Volcano land not open when they should be i.e the afternoon when tourists come. They now usually open in the evening with the irritating dinosaur 'growling' non-stop. I think i can understand why it's not open. The staff are sick of hearing dinosaurs coming after them. I bet a lashing from the boss would sound so much better. Can you believe they actually asked us if we want to go for the last show and would give us discounts??? I think they'd be better off closed down. I dont see how it's possible that they can survive with such little revenue unless they charge exorbitantly which i guess they are especially with those crap shows.

Fact #5: Singapore is not 'racial-conscious' enough.

For those goons out there who still do not know that muslims do not take pork and therefore includes no contact with pork for their cutlery, now you do. So much for a racial country, i feel that many kids nowadays especially do not have respect for their peers of other races. I ever saw this group of ah lians wannabes having lunch. Some having chinese, some muslim. After they were done, not only did those girls having the muslim food use the spoon to drink the soup of those having noodles, they even 'splashed' the soup onto the plates. Like hello, you're having minced pork noodles, dont be rude. And they just left the plates on the table happily sashaying away. How would the aunty feel if she knows that her cutleries were 'stained'. Brainless people.

Anyway i guess i should stop here, have to wake up early for NE talk tomorrow.

Pammie, what’s wrong with typing like me? Lol.
